Gallizo Polska began operating in summer 2017. Initially, it will be dedicated to the manufacture of industrial counterweights for the lift market, with the intention to extend its activities throughout 2018.
With the opening of its new plant in Poland, Gallizo has taken a step which constitutes a significant milestone in the growth of the company. The development of its industrial business and the profile of its international customers were determining factors in the opening of these facilities. In addition, the Gallizo Polska brand has been created.
The factory in located in Nowogród Bobrzański, 50 km from the German border, and just over 30 km from the Polish city of Zielona Góra, the most important city in the region. During the first months, the plant will focus on the production of counterweights for the European lift market. In a second phase planned for 2018, the plant’s activities will be expanded to include the manufacture of counterweights for other markets of strategic interest to Gallizo.
Through this move the company is consolidating its commitment to the European counterweight sector, and opting for the internationalisation of its production facilities, in accordance with the current demands of the market. Gallizo Polska thus joins the parent company, located in Ejea de los Caballeros (Zaragoza), in its strong business commitment to the industrial sector.
